HD Flexible Tip Airlocks

Our HD Airlock is a fabricated, flexible tip rotary airlock, built to outlast all other airlocks. The unit offers the tightest flexible seal, allowing larger particles to easily pass through the valve while maintaining the air seal.

Typical applications include paper, wood products, animal feed and other agricultural products. The HD, flexible tip airlock also performs well in abrasive applications. Utilizing a HD Airlock on a dust collection system allows for constant operation without the need to shut down and empty containers. It minimizes employee exposure to dust and makes the system less susceptible to material back-up and filter damage.

  • Variable speed selection
  • 1/4" reinforced rubber wipers
  • Temperature range for the standard black cloth inserted SBR wipers is -20°F to 170°F
  • 8 vane removable rotor
  • Roller chain and sprocket drive including a heavy-duty gear reducer
  • Round flanged inlet and outlet (Note: optional square inlet and outlet available at no extra charge.)
  • Standard fabricated carbon steel construction
  • 230/460/60 Hz/3 phase motor - UL Listed
  • Sealed, 4-bolt flange outboard bearings
  • Primed and painted industrial enamel
  • Standard models are suitable for up to 24" W.C.
Options:
  • Various voltage motor
  • Temperature range for the Vilton® wipers is -14°F to 400°F
  • Custom bolt patterns for inlet and outlets
  • Custom transitions available


We stock out entire inventory of replacement parts at all times. In most cases, parts are delivered the next day. All of our parts are standard, off the shelf items that can be purchased at a local bearing supplier. The LP Airlock has been designed with service in mind. No special tooling is required to replace wear parts, minimizing downtime. Our airlocks ship with an owner’s manual and a suggested replacement parts list.
